VGYD has been designing metal marine structures for over twenty years, working in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Our extensive mechanical and structural engineering portfolio includes everything from complex super yacht structures, to an aluminum run-a-boat modeled in 3D, to highly loaded chainplate systems.
Performance Analysis
VGYD offers hull form development and performance analysis for power and sail boats using state-of-the-art research and development tools for the optimization of either new designs or existing boats.
Forensic Engineering
VGYD is available to serve as a forensic naval architect in the investigation and determination of structural damage or failures to marine structures, their causes and their effects.
